Overview

The q-switch laser will shatter coloured pigment in the skin, effectively removing the tattoo. 8-12 sessions are required for complete removal and they can be spaced 8-12 weeks apart.

The harmony XL pro ClearLift can only target the colours black, dark blue, grey, red and orange.

What to Expect

Blockout googgles will be provided for you during the session to help protect your eyes.

During the treatment, the laser will go over the tattooed area and cause a strong rubber band flick kind of sensation. The amount of sensation is dependant on the individual. If you are aware that you have a low pain tolerance, it is recommended that you apply numbing creaming at least 30min prior to the the session or according to the manufacturers instructions.

Immediately following treatment white 'frosting' will appear over the tattoo. It will fade over the week. During this process, the tattoo may appear darker while the body is trying to process the ink and then it will fade. This duration of this process is also individual to the person and the type of tattoo.
