Not much at all. Skin needling feels like a gentle vibration gliding over the skin, with some mild prickling during the procedure. Similarly, with mesotherapy, you may feel a slight prick, but the treatment is generally very comfortable throughout. After a skin needling treatment, your face may feel warm, similar to a mild sunburn, which usually subsides within 24–48 hours. With mesotherapy, there is usually no tingling afterwards, although some redness at the microinjection sites may remain for 24–72 hours. On rare occasions, mild swelling may also occur.

It is recommended that you wait at least two weeks between other skin therapies to allow the skin to recover before moving on to the next treatment. Please consult with our friendly skin therapists to ensure the treatment plan is suitable for your skin.

Absolutely. We recommend allowing at least seven days for the skin to fully recover from the treatment. You may also choose to add a specialised collagen mask or LED light therapy after skin needling or mesotherapy to help support the healing response.
